By now, Blind Date , which is currently airing on Fox Reality Channel, has become a hallmark of pop culture. I remember staying up late on Friday nights during middle school in anticipation of getting a good laugh from the kooky rendezvous that daters would go on. Sometimes there were sparks between the ladies and gents, and at other moments the women would give the fellas a cold shoulder, but the show was rarely ever short on entertainment value!
Back then, I could only wonder if my future dating life would resemble the comedic models of courtship that Blind Date was exposing me to, and 10 years later, I still haven't had a date that's as zany as those that host Roger Lodge would introduce on those Friday nights. |
